Selecting the correct length and weight of lash for your client will mean you will have to take into account various factors i.e. natural eye shape, texture of natural hair, natural eyelash shape and natural lash arrangement.
A fine natural lash - will require an equally fine lash extension to avoid over weighing the natural lash.
A strong lash - will support any weight of lash i.e. fine, thick and extra thick.
Naturally very curled - will require a shorter lash extension to enable a maximum bonding area. Very occasionally, some extremely curled natural lashes are unsuitable for lash extensions.
Fine lashes - give the effect of a natural look and as they are lightweight tend to be the choice of customers wishing to wear the lashes on a long term basis.
Thick lashes - give the effect of mascara, these lashes still look extremely natural and long wearing, providing the natural lash is strong enough to support it.
Extra thick lashes - can be used on clients that have strong natural lashes. They give a high definition glamorous effect. These lashes are generally used for special occasions, they give a stunning effect, however they are not generally worn for a long period of time. |
